Richard Simon has been a Rotarian since 1991. He coordinates biannual Blood Drives, stocks and delivers food at the Marin Food Bank, builds homes for “Habitat for Humanity”, (was) active in his children’s schools/synagogues and community. On the weekends, you may find him out in the community planting flowers at the Mill Valley Recreation Center or helping to restore Boyle Park. He was born in upstate New York and left it in his rearview mirror after graduating from Syracuse University. He married a native Northern Californian, his daughters were born here and when he thinks about his early life, the only memory he has is of snow drifts covering everything in sight!
